The One Thing You Should Never Forget

God loves you.\r\n

Unconditionally. Not based on your appearance. Not based on your performance. Based simply on the fact He picked you to be His child.

\r\nHe cares deeply for you on a level your human mind will never be able to comprehend.\r\n\r\nYou were His idea. He created you. He designed every feature of your face. He planned your life and everything you would encounter in it.\r\n\r\nHe knows you. He knows every thought, and every motive. He knows you better than you know you.\r\n\r\nHe’s more familiar with your weaknesses than you are. And yet He loves you. He knows your strengths and talents, too…because He’s the one who gave them to you.\r\n\r\nYou can’t mess up bad enough to make God stop loving you. You can’t fail so many times that He gives up. His love is endless; limitless.\r\n\r\nSo stop worrying; He’s perfectly in control of the entire universe. There’s not a single detail of your life He doesn’t know about. There’s not a single need in your life He can’t meet. And there’s not a single thing in your future He’s unprepared for.\r\n\r\nListen to the powerful words of this old hymn:\r\n\r\nThe love of God is greater far\r\nThan tongue or pen can ever tell;\r\nIt goes beyond the highest star,\r\nAnd reaches to the lowest hell;\r\nThe guilty pair, bowed down with care,\r\nGod gave His Son to win;\r\nHis erring child He reconciled,\r\nAnd pardoned from his sin.\r\n \r\nCould we with ink the ocean fill,\r\nAnd were the skies of parchment made,\r\nWere every stalk on earth a quill,\r\nAnd every man a scribe by trade,\r\nTo write the love of God above,\r\nWould drain the ocean dry.\r\nNor could the scroll contain the whole,\r\nThough stretched from sky to sky.\r\n \r\nO love of God, how rich and pure!\r\nHow measureless and strong!\r\nIt shall forevermore endure\r\nThe saints’ and angels’ song.\r\nStop. Slow down. Take a breath. Relax. Listen.\r\n\r\nLet God speak to you through these words your reading right now.\r\n\r\nCan you hear Him? He’s saying, “Hey…I love you.\r\n\r\nQuestion: What do you love most about God? \r\nYou can leave a comment by clicking here.
