The double complainer is the person who complains that the street they live on is too rough and needs to be repaved. But then when the city sets up cones, narrows it to one lane, and begins fixing it, they complain about the traffic and inconvenience.

Think about it: they are complaining about the problem… then complaining about the solution to the problem.

Be careful not to be a double complainer. Remember: criticism reveals more about us than it does the thing we are criticizing.
